Sunday, May 30 - Adrian(Chrome), Alan, Lloyd(Slowpoke), Charlie and myself met at 8:00 at Tim's in Milton.
- Starting in Milton - N of 401 on Road 25 (8501 Regional Road 25, Milton, ON)
- NW on Rd-25 to Rr-15 at Speyside
- turn right and follow Rr-15 to Main St.,Georgetown
- turn left on Maple St. heading NW to Mountainview Rd
- turn right on 10th Line (SE) then left on 17th Sideroad
- follow 17th Sideroad (NE) to Winston Churchill Blvd.
- Winston Churchill Blvd go NW and then veers N toward Terra Cotta
- just before Terra Cotta a 90 degree turn left gets us N on Winston Churchill Blvd again this turned out to be a bumpy dirt road - avoid it!
- continue N to Olde Base Line Road, turn right (NE)
- turn left on Missasauga Road to head NW
- as we approach Belfountain, the road is also called Old Main Street
- just after Belfountain a right turn puts us back on Winston Churchill Blvd
- the Forks of the Credit Road is a short distance
- follow Forks of the Credit Road E to Hurontario Street CAUTION - SEVERE 180 SWITHBACK - take the track closest to the center line of the road
- a straight run N through Orangeville
- turn right and go E to Hockley for a bite to eat Well, I guess I did not calculate correctly. We have plenty of time. North on Airport Road to Stayner, W to Duntroon then N zig-zagging toward Collingwood. Going W on 19 and turning off at Scenic Caves Road gave us a nice view of Collingwood from the top. Here we parted company with Adrian as it would be a good ride home for him S on Beaver Valley Road. The rest of us headed E and S and finally parted N of Markham as each of us headed home. In the house by 5:30. Hot and tired but very happy.
Time to start planning another trip!
